Oppo during national team practice held yesterday: He is likely to renew
his contract with New Radiant
Male', MALDIVES - New Radiant chairman Ali Azim said that New Radiant will get any player they want. In an interview given to maldivesoccer Azim's this statement came regarding their talks between their ' contract expired ' midfielder Ibrahim Fazeel (Oppo) and the speculation around the capital about his link to Valencia.
"His contract has expired and he is free to talk any club. And in the agreement we have stated that he could talk to any club one month piror to the expiration date of the contract" Azim said.
But he agrees that they are also having talks with Oppo currently.
"We are having talks with him and it is progressing very well. He just have to sign now. We want him and if New Radiant wants a player they will get him" said Azim.
About the prospect of bringing Huriyya players, he denied the speculation that they have been trying to get Onu.
"We are currently talking with Maldivian players and we never talked with Onu" said Azim.
He also noted that Veladamir Goffa is having discussions and still have not finalised it.
"We have contacts with him regularly. But it is not finalised so far"
During the interview Azim also stated that they haven't make a final decision on their defender Boyko.
