against New Radiant, he scored Valencia's second goal of the match.

Male', MALDIVES - Valencia striker Mukhthar has signed a new contract with Island Football Club (IFC), but the deal was done two days ago. According to Mukhthar, he got a good offer from IFC.

" I've signed to IFC around two days ago" he said yesterday. This means Valencia lost two strikers in last three days, because their no. one striker Ashfaag confirmed his move to New Radiant on 31st October.

When asked why he has changed the club, he said he changed the club not because he has any problem with Valencia.

"IFC's offer was very good. So I thought I need a different taste of the football in here. So thought I would change."

During the season, Mukhthar's appearance mostly came as a substitute but he scored some important goals for Valencia.

Various sources say he signed to IFC when they agreed to pay MRF 40,000/-. Though this amount is not confirmed and Mukthaar too did not want to comment on the amount.

" I don't want to comment on the amount but they agreed to pay a good figure " said the striker who scored 7 goals for Valencia in this season.

Mukthar is the second player who announced their move to another club.
