| Maldives U20 lost first friendly against Malaysia

MALAYSIA - Maldives under 20 national team has lost their first of two friendly game against Malaysia here on Monday.
Maldives national team led by Moosa Maniku (Kuda Moosa) lost this warm up game by a narrow margin of 2-1. Both the teams are peparing for the upcoming AFC Youth Championship.
Malaysia took the lead in the 26th minute through Mohd Zaquan Adha Abdul Razak and Khyril Muhymeen Zambri increased the lead three minutes before half time. Mohamed Ghassan scored the only goal for Maldives.
Malaysia will face Myanmar and Brunei in Group I where as Maldives' Group include Laos and Vietnam.
