MALDIVES - Haveeru daily news has recently announced that they will give an award for best coach and best referee of the season. This is an excellent news for soccer fans, referees and clubs and ofcourse for coaches as well.
During a time, referees facing downpour of criticsm from fans, player and coaches, this award will help them to think more about their job. An award is an effective way to recognise someone's hard work and we are sure that anyone who love Maldivian soccer will thank Haveeru daily for taking this brave step.
Haveeru daily has also awards the best player and highest goal scorer of each season.
According to Haveeru, the best coach award includes not only local coaches but also foreign coaches, coaching for both local clubs and national team and the referee award will have both referees and assistant referees.
