Sunain signing on Valencia's agreement

Male', MALDIVES - Former IFC and Victory striker Sunain (Suney) inked a deal with Valencia for the upcoming season. At a small ceremony held at Valencia's office in FAM house at around 1500hrs local time Suney signed on Valencia's agreement with the presence of Gen. Secretary Adheel Jaleel.

Minutes after being a Valencia player Suney shared couple of minutes with maldivesocer.com.

"I think at the moment Valencia's offer was the best option. IFC also asked me to join but I did not opt for them. New Radiant asked me. But I did not get a later reply from them" Suney explained why he prefer Valencia.

Suney who spent a dissapointing season with Victory last time talked about he experience with Victory as well.

"They didn't treat me well. They did not ask me to come back. And I don't intend to go back as well"

As almost all the players do, Suney also didn't want to talk much about the salary Valencia offered.

"I opted for Valencia not only because of the figure. IFC had a bigger offer. I don't want only money. Valencia's offer is more appealing."

Regarding the injury that hits him last season, Suney confirmed that he is going for local medication to the island of Thinadhoo at the end of this weak.

"I want to come back next season with a great ambition. I want to win matches for Valenica." He concluded.
