MALDIVES - Maldives national team striker Ashfaag stated that Pakistan's Fulham defender Zesh Rehman is brilliant defender and he faced lot of difficulty in beating Zesh in this year's SAFF championship played at Karachi.
" He (Zesh) is a very good player and he marked me very well" Ashfaag said.
When asked him whether he could compete Zesh, the striker who scored 3 goals for Maldives in SAFF championship first joked, then again said Zesh uses his head brilliantly.
" He is smart and use his head in dealing the opponent, that makes him such a marvellous player" Ashfaag praised.
Zesha Rehman is player of England's premeir league club Fulham. Born in Birmingham of England, his parents being Pakistanis make the process easy for him to join Pakistan national team.
