| FAM confirms Stoikov is not confirmed

MALDIVES - Football Asociation of Maldives has confirmed that former national team and currently New Radiant's coach Stoikov is not confirmed as the coach to shape national squad to the upcoming SAFF Championship.
In an interview given to maldivesoccer executive secretary of FAM Mr.Hussain Rasheed, said that FAM hasn't confirmed of appointing Stoikov to national team coach, but there are talks going on about him.
" He isn't confirmed, but there are talks going on. We will let you know once the decision is made" Hussain said today.
Stoikov took Maldives to the final of first edition of SAFF Championship, but was crushed by India by 5-1.
Stoikov has won Male' League and National Tournament in 2004 with New Radiant consisting of a very young team and this year he won FA Cup and took New Radiant to the semi final of AFC Cup.
