MALDIVES - Goals from Ibrahim Nazim and Ahmed Neesham in the 51st and 62nd minute took Sea Land to the top of Group A when they stunned Zefrol by 2-1 in yesterday’s game in ongoing 3rd Division tournament. Out of the two goals, Neesham scored from the spot and Zefrol’s only goal also taken from the spot by Ali Naazif in the 74th minute.
Zefrol, who were leading the group before the match, plummeted to second with 4 points whereas Sea Land took the position of the leader with 7 points and looking for a positive result in their last match against Hithaadhoo youth wing to march into the final. Youth wing tasted a heavy defeat of 5-1 from Sea Land when they faced each other in their first clash.
FC Cicada and Muiveyo friends will clash in today’s Group B match.
