Ammadey on the move: The injured captain is expected to play against
Victory in the final

Male', MALDIVES - New Radiant's injured captain Ahmed Mohamed aka Ammadey is expected to play against Victory in the final of President's Cup said Assistant coach Niyaz.

Ammadey was injured in the AFC Cup semi final first leg match played in Male'.

Niyaz has said that they would be taking the game very seriously in tomorrow night's game.

According to Niyaz, New Radiant will take the game very seriously.

"We will take the game very seriously. The players are also ready for the game"

He also said that the Maldivian players are equal or better compared to the foreign players who play for Victory.

"The Maldivian players are also good. We cannot only concentrate on the foreign players. New Radiant will play their normal game"

New Radiant's Niyaz is injured from their last game against Huriyya and is unlikely to play.

It is believed that Ahmed Thoriq (Tom) who was studying in Malaysia would replace Niyaz in the striking force.

Victory's coach Mauroof (Maattey) has urged the supporters and the players to show good spirit in tomorrow night's encounter. The season's last match is to be played with two teams whose form is outstanding.

Mattey said that he told the players that it is the last game and it is the only game for Victory in this season to lift a trophy.

"I told the players that this is the only match that they can lift up a trophy. We have been very unlucky this season. We want to turn that and win it. It is an important game for all of us. Supporters, players and as well the management."

Maattey has not finalized on utilizing the foreign players.

"I have not decided on how I would use them. The plans might change."

He has been using the denmark players who have joined victory only for the National tournament. M Batchou has been used only as a substitute when victory wanted to have a strong defense line.
