AFC CUP 2006: Group stage draw announced

Kuala Lumpur , MALAYSIA - AFC Cup 2006 Group stage draw has announced a while ago. Two participants from Maldives, New Radiant and Hurriyya, are in the group E and F, which is known as the group consists of teams from Asean region.
In Group E, New Radiant will have to face Perlis of Malaysia, Home United of Singapore and Sun Hei FC of Hong Kong. Home United and New Radiant were in the same group in AFC Cup 2005, where New Radiant beat them in Male' by 1-0, but lost in Singapore by 2-0.
In Group F, Hurriyya is along with Happy Valley of Hong Kong, Selangor of Malaysia and Tampines Rovers of Singapore.
