New Radiant players during the practice held today
Male', MALDIVES - New Radiant coach Stoikov said that his team boys are mentally and physically prepared for the game against Jordanian giant Al Hussein on Wednesday.
"We are mentally and physically prepared for the game. We will try our best to win the game" He said to Maldivesoccer today after their practice.
When asked about the players in the opposition team, he said that those players are tall and big so they might base their play according to it. They might try to exploit the weakness of the team but we are prepared for it.
"Those players are tall and big, but we are ready to face them which ever way they may try to play" He said.
When asked about how much he will miss the injured Idhrees he commented that the strikers that are in the team are much better than him.
"The strikers I got now are much better than him so I don't think we will miss him." The powerful striker got injured in the last AFC Cup game which was played in Male'.
The strike force of New Radiant which have been very poor in the last matches played in dhivehi league will be much better now as their key striker 'TOM' has joined the team's practice. He has been studying in Malaysia for an undergraduate degree. He joined the team yesterday.
New radiant had their training sessions yesterday and today in Henveiru Stadium.
"We got a good pitch in here and are very happy with how the practices are going on. I am very confident that we will show New Radiant fans a good show and we will please them" added the confident coach.
Al Hussein practiced in the turf grounds in Maafannu Stadium. The next practice of New Radiant will be held tomorrow in the National Stadium, where the match will be held on Wednesday.
New radiant coach said that he has no injuries in the team. So he can use the full force of his players in the game.
