MALDIVES - Maldives FA has put a heavy suspension over
second division champion Vyansa. According to FAM, three players
(Ahmed Rishwan, Mohamed Rasheed and Hussain Shimaz) and three officials
including the coach, Ismail Asif (Kuda Heena) was suspended for
one season and a warning to the club founder Mr. Mohamed Wisham.

his assistants for allowing IFC's second goal.
After these incidents referees had a strike and refused to referee
any more matches in a local game before FAM guaranties them full

and Sports with senior referees, FAM promised full security for
referees during the matches.

division was faded away and their rival Eagles, who were beaten
by Vyansa in second division final, confirmed the last place of
first division.
According to FAM, the suspended players cannot participate as a
player or an official in any event organised by FAM till the end
of next season and these players must take sports counciling from
FAM.
