Radiant starts with a draw

MALDIVES - New Radiant started the Dhiraagu Dhivehi League
with a draw of 2-2 against Hurriyya. In today's match New Radiant
took the lead in the 11th minute by former captain Ammadey. A beautiful
strike from Ammadey came with a perfectly timed corner by Naaz,
giving no chance to Areesh to save.
Unlike first half, second half kicks off with more excitement not
only from the players, but also from the officials and supporters.
Hurriyya leveled the game in the 51st minute and Husnee gave lead
in the 56th minute.
In Huraa's first goal, New Radiant's players thought referee will
blow whistle for the free kick, but before that Hurriyyaa's player
kicked the ball to the goal and shocked not only New Radiant players
but also their officials and supporters.
New Radiant levels the game in the 59th minute by Boyko from a beautiful
free kick.
After Hurriyya's second goal and not taking action against a foul
by Hurriyyaa's defenders, New Radiant's Assistant coach and another
official shows anger to Huraa's supporter showing a nasty act .
Surprisingly no action was taken.
Hiriyaa will face Foakaidhoo on tomorrow's match.
