| Chris praised Maldives players and coach

Male, MALDIVES - In an interview to maldivesoccer.com, Chris- valencia's coach was very pleased with the performance of the Maldivian players.
"Although Afghanistan is playing for the first time against Maldives it's a huge win. The win should build up the team's confidence for the next matches." He commented on the Afghanistan match.
He was also delighted on the win against Srilanka.
"Fantastic result again, now versus a much tougher opponent, Sri Lanka. Great result and if I understand correct, after a very good game."
"I believe Maldives team can do much more excellent work and go the whole way, just if they keep focus and consistent with serious play avoiding mistakes"
He also was very pleased of the potential of the team and said his fingers are crossed for Maldives to win the cup.
"The team has really a great potential and experienced players, able to create a big surprise"
He was also full of praises for coach Stoikov.
" It looks as his preparation period and matches were well chosen as it build up the team well for the Tournament. I am sure Stoikov did well with the selection process"
He ended by congratulating the players and the coaching staff on the win.
"Please if you can, convey my congratulations to Coach Stoikov & assistants as well as to all the players (including Ali Umar & Daghey, the scorers) for the fantastic performance"
During the interview given to maldivesoccer.com, Stoikov thanked Chris on congratulating and for his comments.
