Male',
MALDIVES - New Radiant beat
IFC by 2-0 in a club friendly played at Turf pitch today. New Radiant's
newly joined Bulgarian international Valentine scored the first
and the second was scored by an engergetic youth who joined the
club recently.
Both
the coaches tried to test as many players possible in the match.
Eventhough it was a friendly, there had been some dangerous tackles
from both sides and some tasted minor injuries.
Through out the match IFC played more organised and scored two goals,
but were ruled out for being offside and some of their players looked
tired. New Radiant's top strikers, Ali Umar, Ali Ashfaag and Ahmed
Thoriq attended to see the match and midfielder Ibrahim Fazeel was
also there among the spectators. Ali Umar, Ali Ashfaag and Fazeel
are currently taking rest due to injuries.
'The
result was not bad, we had continous physical training for ten days
and the players were very tired and as a result there was no movement
at all. Hopefully for the season the players would be more fresh
and we would be more stronger as key players will join later' said
IFC coach Takov after the match.
