MS launches a World Cup section... with cool prizes

Male', MALDIVES - Maldivesoccer (MS) has launched its World Cup section today. This section will give readers a lot of information about the 32 teams that are participating in this years World Cup in Germany. The section will also update the readers with key players, stadiums plus brief information on past World Cups.

Another opportunity readers will get in here is a free World Cup guide in dhivehi. This guide is available to download in PDF for personal use.

Who wants to have a 21" Plasma TV and a Home Theatre System? Sure everyone will raise their hands. That unique chance is also available there.

The "predict and win" event in association with Fariva Quarts will allow readers to send their predicted score 15 minutes before the end of each game and they can send a maximum of three scores per match. Winner of each match will get a cool prize from Fariva Quarts and at the end of the World Cup, the person who sends the maximum no. of correct entries will walk away with a 21" Plasma Tv and a Home Theatre system. Cool huh?

The "predict and win" event is open for anyone who are not a staff of Maldivesoccer and Fariva Quarts plus their relatives. Those who stay abroad can also join. Participants uniqueness will be counted from the phone no. they enter, so make sure you enter the same phone no. every time you send the score.

I think voting until last 15 mins is too much bcoz it will be very easy for guessing the socre. It would be more excited if we cannot send the scores after half time...this is the case in EPL prediction by ESPN - ayya

hi guys,u are doing a great job for our fans of soccer.just keep it up.
i am very much interested to participate in this predict and win competition. i wuld like to calrify something. here in maldives we can see 42 matches live and 22 mathes recording after 2 hrs. so how about the predicting the score of recorded match. i guess it wuld be only for the actual time is in't it? - noman

Thanks for highlighting this, I would like to say that we only consider scores that are send at the real match time, scores that are send during the recorded match time will not be entertained. The event is open for those stay abroad too, in Malaysia they telecast all the matches live and there are handful of websites that webcast all the matches as well. Hope you got the point. Enjoy! :)
