MALDIVES - Goffa has showed please over his players although they lost 3-0 to Victory in a practice match held in turf pitch yesterday. Huriyya used 22 players, 11 in the first half and the remaining 11 in the second.
’There are obviously mistakes individually and as a team. We would gradually improve from day to day. We now know the mistakes in our sistem. So we would come up with new tactics and new system'
Goffa was full of praise for Ali Shiham who signed a two year deal with them recently.
'He had no power. But he showed good enthusiasm and worked really hard. Shinaz and Husnee have continued with their high form from last season. I should also notice the good play of Mubarik, who joined us this year. He had played really well too. KD had a good start and I hope he would also continue’
Suzein, assistant coach of victory said the practice match was good and they also need improvements.
'Some players’ performance is still lower than last season. But some are good too’
Meanwhile, Victory would be playing another practice match with IFC today in henvieru grounds in the evening.
’Today we would know who is better and who is not. Grass would be very much different. So we would know more details too’
