MALDIVES - Former national team captain and currently Valencia player Mohamed Nizam (Thoddoo) confirmed to maldivesoccer that three major clubs are urging for his help in the coming season. Since, three clubs are having talks with him and he is yet to finalise the deal, Nizam feels uneasy to reveal the names.
‘I haven’t finalised the deal, so I don’t want to reveal the names of the clubs’
In an earlier interview to maldivesoccer Valencia’s Gen, Secretary Adheel Jaleel highlighted that they are trying to appoint Nizam in a club’s managerial post. But Nizam disagrees to move to such a post.
‘I don’t think you would see me in a managerial post. I would only be seeing as a player’ said former Maldives’ player of the year.
Mostly in last season, Nizam appeared as a substitute player and there is a high chance that he will make a move to another club.
