Victory looking for two foreign players

Male', MALDIVES - In order to strengthen the squad for the coming season, Victory sports clubs is looking forward to include two foreign players in their squad says club’s new Gen. Secretary Ahmed Affal. At the moment Victory is negotiating with a total of four players.

‘We would definitely sign two players out of these four and we didn’t yet finalise the players’ Affal said.

The Canadian striker Henrikson, who helped Victory to win last year’s President’s cup and named tournament’s best forward, is also among the negotiating players.

‘We are trying our best to bring him, but nothing is finalised’

Victory is also linked with a player from Singapore’s Home United, who is currently in Galle.

‘If they (Home United) give release to him, definitely he will join our squad’

Other than that, a Nigerian player is also having talks with Victory and another foreign player who played in Maldives before is also in Victory’s negotiating list.
