MALDIVES - Football Association
of Maldives has confirmed that a total of 19 teams will compete
in the upcoming 19th Football Association Cup and the teams are:
1. New Radiant SC
2. Victory SC
3. Club Valencia
4. Hurriyya SC
5. Island Football Club
6. Club Eagles
7. VYANSA
8. BG Sports
9. Guraidhoo ZJ
10.United Victory
11.Maziya SR
12.New Star
13.Club Teenage
14.FC Baaz
15.T.C.M.O
16.A.D.D
17.FC Cicada
18.Galolhu SC
19.Hithadhoo Youth Wing
This year's FA Cup will kick off on 17th of February and all the
matches will play on knock out rule. Most probably the first division
teams will start to appear from quarter final stage.
New Radiant claimed the champions of 18th edition of this tournament
after beating Club Valencia in the final by 2-0. New Radiant's Ahmed
Mohamed and Mohamed Nimal scored in the game. The winner of this
tournament will book a place in the AFC Cup 2007.
