strengthening for the season

MALDIVES - Eagles
manager Ibrahim Abdul Kareem (Ibbe) has confirmed that they are
looking out for two foreign players in order to strengthen the team
for the coming season. Currently Eagles having talks with a Russian
and a Nigerian player.
' I cannot confirm it, but right now we are talking with a Russian
and a Nigerian player. They seem to be good' club Manager said.
Eagles is also trying their best to find a foreign coach as well.
' There is a Russian coach who is willing to come, but we are not
fully satisfied with him. We are looking for another one with the
help of former national team coach Gomez'
' Some players have already complained of not having a good foreign
coach. The players prefer a European coach' explained Ibbe.
Well known players like Battey, Naani and Bell have already signed
with Eagles and are participating in the practices regularly.
Adding to their surprise they held mighty New Radiant to a 1-1 draw
in a club friendly played yesterday at turf ground.
