MALDIVES - New Radiant chairman Ali Azim stated that New Radiant will appoint a coach after FA Cup final match, where they will play against Valencia on 16th of this month.
New Radiant has been without a coach from early this season. New Radiant brought a Romanian for the season, but dismissed as the team couldn't perform upto the expectation under him. Since then, Assistance coach Niyaz has been instructing the team.
According to Azim, they are having two thinking about the coach. But didn't revealed any of it. Critics believe that New Radiant may keep Assistant coach Niyaz as the coach till the end of the season or may go for a foreigner.
If New Radiant wins the FA Cup, there is high chance that Niyaz remain as the leading voice on the bench, because they have been telling over and over that their main target is to qualify for next year's AFC Cup and qualify to the second round of this year's AFC Cup. Since the team lost two encounters of AFC Cup so far, the chance to qualify to the second round is quite critical this time.
New Radiant will face Home United of Singapore tomorrow and Azim said they will come out to win the game.
