Valencia captain Assad will be out of action for two months

Male', MALDIVES - Experienced and promising defender and captain of Valencia and national team will be out of action for two months says the player. Assad has been to Sri Lanka for medical treatment and returned recently.

"One doctor said I've to go for a ligament operation and the other said I will be normal if I take the medicine for two months" He said last night.

"Therefore, I decided to go for medicine and that means I will be out of action for two months"

The unavailability of Assad creates many loopholes in Vaencia's defence in every match they played without him and their English coach Eric repeatedly revealed his concern of Assad's injury. And with his two month out of field situation surely will increase the concern of the coach and the management.

Meanwhile New Radiant's ace striker Ashfaag, who also went Sri Lanka for medication has returned home and will play against Home United tomorrow.
