| Eric wants to boost players' confidence

MALDIVES - Valencia coach Eric Williams stated that their main target of playing friendly matches prior to the season is to boost the confidence of the players. He added that their target is to win the games and that way each player can have the confidence of winning every game.
“I just want to win the games and to have the confidence of winning the games. And also I will give my full command to the players not to loose their possession on the pitch and to play a passing game.”
Hurriyya played a friendly against Hurriyya yesterday and they will play another with IFC today.
Eric kept on commenting the weakness of the attacking, but said he has no right to talk about the progress of bringing the foreign players. Eric has already asked for priority in filling the gaps in the forward line.
“Still we don’t have any foreign player even though we lost 8 players from last year’s squad. And we hope that by the end of next week we can have two strikers from Cameroon and Nigeria”
