Amil: A promising defender

MALDIVES - IFC defender and captain, Amil confirmed
that he is ready to come out on the field in the upcoming Dhivehi
League Qualification Zone 9 tournament. Amil has been out of action
since he has been sidelined prior to last year's SAFF championship
in December. He had an operation for an abdominal problem in Bangkok
when National team was dressing up for the tournament.
According to Amil, he is doing the physical trainings now and there
is no pain and the doctor has also given him the permission to go
on with his profession.
Amil joined the club practices last month and it has been 2 weeks
since he participated in the practices.
IFC played only one match so far in this season, where they lost
the crucial match to Eagles in the quarter final stage of FA Cup.
