Clubs getting ready for the practices

Male', MALDIVES - First division clubs are on the final stage of starting their practices for the coming football season. Some clubs already confirmed the date and some still not sure when they will be able to start theirs.

Hurriyya management stated that they will begin their warm ups on 17th of this month.

‘we were trying to start today (Sunday), but now postponed to 17th’ Hurriyya official said.

Victory will start their practices on tomorrow, 16th and this was confirmed by Gen. Secretary Ahmed Affal.

Affal said ‘ Maatey returned last night and we will finalise the foreign players, in that case we will start the practices without them’

Valencia will start the practices tomorrow under the guidance of Enric Williama, an English coach, but they are yet to confirm the foreign players. Valencia has agreed to bring a Ghana striker for a trial and the players Eric checked while he was in Indonesia will be finalised soon.

New Radiant is still wondering when to start their practices and chairman Ali Azim said they aren’t confirm the date and he refused to give more information on their Romanian coach and the foreign players.

And IFC official said their practices will start on 19th and by then their foreign talents will be joined the club. IFC’s coach has already joined the club and now scouting for good local talents in islands.
