Valentine's world cup saga is questionable

MALDIVES - There was this rumour that the Bulgarian defender Valentine Naidhenov Inanov who recently joined Maldives club New Radiant was a Bulgarian world cup star. But the fact is he was not, instead he played for Bulgarian team for the Euro Qualification 2000.
New Radiant website said that Valetine played a total of 7 matches for Bulgarian national team, according to the information we got Valentine played against Morocco on December 26 1998 and against Sweden in Euro Qualification 2000 and also against England in the same campaign.
Valentine was also a player of Bulgaria’s no.one and most reputed club CSKA Sofia in 1998. So reviewing all these facts we can conclude the 33 year old Valentine was a high profiled Bulgarian player during 1998-2000, but his name was appeared nowhere in a world cup squad of Bulgaria.
