New Radiant to release Dhagey to Perlis

MALDIVES -
New Radiant Sports club confirmed that they would be releasing Ashfaaq (Dhagey) on a loan deal for Malaysian Club Perlis. New Radiant have agreed to loan Dhagey for a period of three months and the deal would take place in the coming few days.
‘We have agreed all the terms and a deal is almost done. Now, we have to finalise his release papers” said New Radiant's chairman, Mr. Azim.
With regard to the loan, New Radiant would get around 8,000- 10,000 US $ for the 3 months from the deal.
Maldivesoccer asked Azim about the strategy to replace the blue jersey; Azim replied that they do not have to replace him.
“Dhagey did not play for us last year, so we do not have to find a replacement for him”
Dhagey's service was also needed by Singapore 's Home United. But since their forieqn player's quota was up, they could not bring Dhagey to their team. However, they tried Dhagey for their under 23 team. But a deal was not made with the sinagapore side.
“They had to have talks with their FA if Dhagey had to be transferred there. As there quota was up. But it would take a lot of time. So we decided that we would strike a deal with Perlis”
New Radiant played against Perlis and lost by 6-0 in Perlis' home ground. This was one of the worst defeats by New Radiant in this year's AFC Cup. But in Male' New Radiant held Perlis to a costly draw of 0-0 in Male', which ends Perlis' hope of reaching the quarterfinal.
According to New Radiant, Perlis manager stated he has never seen a striker like Dhagey in this region for the last few years.
Dhagey would be playing until the end of the Malaysian League and this would be a bitter news for the fans of New Radiant as their club is suffering to perform well in the ongoing Dhivehi League Zone 9 qualification, but this is of course a great achievement in Maldivian Football as it has been some years that we were talking about exposing our local talents abroad

In all means, we should first thank Club Valencia for unleashing a striker known as "Iron Man" back in 2001 POMIS Cup. It was Valencia who introduced Dhagandey to Maldivian soccer and on behalf of all the Maldivian people, I thank Valencia management. -

I was really excited. This will surely help newradient to perform better than now in the local tournaments. Newradient has not been performing their best except just a few moments. That's because Niya is unable to handle the scod of most high profile players in the nation. I wish all the success to Ashfaq & newradient.-

can't believe dt dhagey desided to go abraod...and if dhagey goes will the haveeru and FAM will look for his performance for the sports awards??? most probably this time dhagey wont get the golden boot bcuz he is nolonger taking a part in maldivies football...any way wish dhagey all the best.
