Male,
MALDIVES - Mr
Wing Simon, the coach of Happy Valley noted in an exclusive interview
to maldivesoccer.com that he is confident that his team would show
a good performance in tomorrow’s clash against Hurriyya.
“I believe comparing the match against Hurriyya at home, we
have a good chance of winning against them at their home and to
show the fans a good attacking game”
Wong also noted
that his senior players are tired as the season ended a few days
ago.
“Our boys are very tired and I would replace some of them
with younger ones to give them more match experience”
Happy Valley
is also almost out of the competition and the coach said that AFC
Cup would bring more experiences for the younger and urged them
to bring the best benefit out of it
Unlike most
of the coaches who come to Maldives, weather is not a problem for
Wong Simon and his team.
“The weather is almost similar to Hong Kong. So we don’t
feel the difference”
But the almost
the whole team weren’t wearing their t-shirts during the practice
session held at the National grounds yesterday.
Wong Simon also
was full of praise for the hospitality and said that their trip
to the Maldives has been perfect.
“The beach, the weather and everything is here is simply the
best and we want to show the fans a good attacking game tomorrow”
Lastly the coach noted that there are some minor injuries but it
would not effect his attacking options.
