MALDIVES - May be not many expected that Sun Hei could beat New Radiant in Male' so easily, but the truth is they did and one man used to come into focus every time the visitors ran for celebration; Akosah Julius.
It was the Nigerian striker Julius who scored twice against New Radiant to beat them in their home soil by 2-0; truly a remarkable advantage and definitely the scorer must be the happiest.
‘It was a wonderful feeling that I scored the two goals and because of the goals, we won the match. It was a very important game as it is in an away game' Julius explained to maldivesoccer soon after the match.
According Julius, New Radiant could produce a better result if they had a better team work, since the team is packed with some of the best players of the nation.
Maldivian Football is very good. Today for example, there were outstanding players in the field. But they did not have the team work. If they had the team work, they would have produced a better result.'
