Goffa believes some of his players had a bad day

Male, MALDIVES - Hurriyya coach Goffa stated that it was the height of Happy Valley players that helped them to beat Hurriyya in AFC cup first match. Just after Hurriyya lost their first international match, Goffa explained maldivesoccer about the match.

The biggest problem in the defeat to Happy Valley the coach noted the height of his players compared to the Happy Valley players.

‘The media of Hong Kong asked me how I selected the team. Because of the height of our players.”

Goffa also noted that their foreign players played an outstanding football.

“Their 2 Brazilians, one Nigerian and one Cameroonian played really well. They proved to be the difference between the two teams.'

“In our team, there's only one average Nigerian Player who came one week ago. Without 3 foreign players in this time it's not possible to hold a step in domestic or international tournaments”

He also noted the skills of Hong Kong National team player, Ho Cheung who plays for Jersey No. 8. However he marked the outstanding performance of Mansoor, Massey, Nizam and Ishaaq.

“Mansoor, Maasey, Nizam and Ishaaq played really well. But Shinaz, Husney, Riyaz and Haneef had a bad day. Rest of the team played an average football” commented about his players

Gofa also noted that all the arrangements in Hong Kong were very good and he was very satisfied. However, Gofa is expected to resign or according to speculation he would be sacked from the job very soon.

Maldivesoccer.com tried to contact Huriyya officials regarding the coach, but we could not reach any of their officials via phone.
