Male', MALDIVES - Selangor FC had a comfortable win against Hurriyya sports club here in Male'. Hurriyya Sports Club missed number of chances and was ripped off from the match in the second half. A match where Indian referee had a hard time gave a very harsh penalty in the 22 nd minute. Brian who scored against Tampines easily shot in to the net.

Meanwhile minutes ago, Naseem got a golden opportunity when he was left alone in the penalty area from a cross. The shot was saved marvelously by Selangor's Keeper Jarsami.

In the second half, Hurriyya played with more enthusiasm and tried to attack. But it was Selangor who scored and extended the lead from a counter attack. Mohamed Amri scored it to make the lead to 2-0.

The third goal was scored five minutes later by Bambang from a counter attack again. Hurriyya's defense was too careless when they attacked.

A consolation goal was scored in the dying minutes by Mausoom when he was left alone in the six yard box.

Refree made some harsh decisions: Salleh

After the match, Dollah Saleh explained that he is very happy with his player's performance.

“It was very hot. But our players played with good enthusiasm and they took their chances to score the goal”

Dollah Saleh expressed that he felt the decisions by the referee was too harsh

“It was a little bit harsh. But I don't want to complain about the referee. As his decisions are final”

It's not my duty to comment on referee: Goffa

Meanwhile, Goffa did not want to comment on referee's decisions.

“I don't want to complain about the decisions. I just coach the players, so it is not my business to talk about the referee”

He appreciated the work done by his players and thanked his management for the co-operation.

“I am very happy with the player's performance. They worked hard and showed their best.”

But goffa was left frustrated by his striking force.

“They could have scored so many goals. But my job is to teach them to score and it's their job to do. But if you compare with other clubs our striking force is very young. Shinaz and Husnee would obviously need time to perform”
