Shinaz Hilmy scored a late goal against Tampines in Singapore
Male', MALDIVES - Hurriyya's Assistant coach Rafeeu said in an interview to maldivesoccer today, that they are fully prepared for tomorrow's clash against Tampines.
‘We are ready in full gear for tomorrow's game. We were prepared fully for the New Radiant's match. But a defeat is a defeat. Hopefully we could win tomorrow's game”
Rafeeu also noted that the height advantage of Tampines players would be the only factor that they have the edge on Hurriyya in tomorrow's game.
‘They try to focus their game play on using high balls from the wings to attack. Their goals in last game were also scored in that fashion. The advantage for them is, we have too short players”
While Hurriyya is focusing to win the game to bring a good name for the island and the country, their main concern lies on the goalkeeper and their key player Mansoor.
“Mansoor is injured and he would not play in tomorrow's game. We are still not sure about Areesh. We would know about him later today as he is working in the resort”
Hurriyya would be having their final practice before the game in their home ground instead of the National ground where the match is going to be played tomorrow.
‘It is very difficult for us to travel from the island to Male' everyday and the players are very tired. So we opted to stay in the island”
In an early interview to maldivesoccer.com, Tampines coach Chitavanich highlighted the performance of Hurriyyaa's young players.
" Their young players work really hard. They are fast and skillfull" he said.
Tomorrow's match will kick off at 1600hrs local time (GMT +5) and maldivesoccer.com will bring the live webcasting of the match along with live score updates of Home United vs New Radiant match, which will kick off at 1930hrs in Singapore, that's 1630hrs local time.
