Male', MALDIVES - Singapore outfit Home United counting a little favour from New Radiant in the AFC Cup when both sides are preparing to face their fifth encounter in this year. Home United will face Group E leader Perlis, while New Radiant will face second placed Sun Hei FC in Hong Kong on May 2 .

If New Radiant, who are on the edge of going out of the tournament, bags a positive result against Sun Hei on next Tuesday means Home United can find a clear way to go through group stage if they could beat Perlis in Malaysia.

New Radiant chairman, Ali Azim stated after losing their clash against Home United in Singapore that his side will try to get the best result in the remaining games, no matter who benefits from their results.

“We're definitely out, a miracle won't happen for us, but then that is sport; one team has to win and one team has to lose,” Sleague site quoted as Azim said.

“But we will fight for our remaining games and never give up. We don't know who would be favoured by any result involving us, and we don't care. We will just fight.”

Hurriyya will face Happy Valley of Hong Kong in Male on next Tuesday. Hurriyya, who are already out of the competition is likely to be out of strikers as one of their key figures, Husny, is suspended for being cautioned in their last two games.
