Valencia's injury woes continue

Assad still counting time to heal the injury


Male', MALDIVES - Victory and Valencia are ready in full force to face each other in tonight's Dhivehi League Zone 9 qualification match. Valencia 's injury woes continue when they face Victory in tonight's game. Assad, Aakey and Shifau are among the list of injured players. Apart from injuries Jameel is suspended and Habeeb has departed to his home island as his grandmother passed away.

Valencia 's coach, Eric mentioned that their main target is not to loose the game as many of their key players are injured.

‘Our main target is not to loose as it is just a league. But of course we would be playing to win”

Eric said the player's motivation has increased a lot and would give a strong fight in tonight's game

‘We lost to Victory 4-1 in Cup winner's cup. We gifted them an early goal and lost from a huge margin. It will not happen this time and the players are very motivated and enthusiastic to face Victory tonight”

Victory's key concern would be the absence of their skipper, Anil due to an injury.

Mauroof said that they are ready for tonight's game but would know the result of the preparation after the match

‘We have fully prepared for tonight's encounter. But we would know the result of it when we play”

Meanwhile, Victory's new signing after the FA Cup - Friday would be playing in the first eleven, while the Morroco player have to sit aside as his transfer is not settled.
