New Radiant team: most of the players are injured

point in the whole season.

Male', MALDIVES -
New Radiant is facing their worst period in their history when they come out in a ‘must win match’ against the minnows- Maaziya in tonight’s Dhivehi League Zone 9 qualification match. Maziya also would be hoping to show a good performance in order to qualify for the Dhivehi League.

New Radiant’s coach Niyaz has also agreed that it is a difficult period for them in their quest to accuse the top spot.

“It is difficult time for us. It is the lowest point in the whole season.”

Coach Niyaz has suffered a major setback as his promising players would be missing in the starting line up in today’s encounter against Maaziya. Coach Niyaz don’t want to take it as an easy game

“It would not be easy. They would fight to qualify as well. So we need to win the game. But the injuries do worry us all”

Niyaz also mentioned that their main aim is to use those injury players as minimum as they can.

“We wouldn’t use them if we have any other option. They would be the last resort.”

The injury list of New Radiant continues as days go by. Nita, Firaz (Malla), Nasir, Fazeel (Oppo), Adam and Ashfaaq (Dhagandey) are all included in the list.

Meanwhile, it would be good news for the team as Nasir has recovered from the injury. But coach Niyaz is not so overwhelmed by the news.

“He has recovered. But we don’t want to use him at the moment. He suffered a knee injury and he has to do light training before he comes out. But as I mentioned if we don’t have any other option I might have to use him”.
