Male', MALDIVES -
New Radiant suffered another major set back within two minutes in successive matches. New Radiant lost to Valencia from two early goals which scored within two minutes and in tonight's game Maziya also managed to score two goals within two minutes.

However, it was New Radiant who took the lead in the 34 th minute from a penalty scored by Nita. But in the first half, none of the teams could create any open chances.

In the second half, Maziya leveled the game from a header by Gassan. Sujau penetrated inside the penalty area and chipped the ball to Gassan who headed to the corner of the goal giving no chance for Aslam to save the ball.

In the next minute, Gassan gave a through pass to Adam Lareef (Ronaldo) which he struck powerfully from outside the penalty area. It hit the cross bar and fell inches past the goal line and came out to the open play. Linesman without any hesitation showed it as a goal giving Maziya the lead.

But, New Radiant managed to level the game by Sobah's long range shot. HE fired a fast bullet from around 10 yards outside the penalty area. New Radiant's former Keeper Sadhun, who was transferred on a loan to Maziya, couldn't even react for the ball when it hit the goal net.

After the goal, Maziya tried to attack more on counter attacks. Some of the Maziya's officials were very unhappy about the decisions of referee Riyaz Rasheed. Fourth Official, Hussain Hameed had to advice them quite a lot of times to calm them down.

The man of the match was awarded to Gassan of Maziya

After the match, New Radiant's coach, Niyaz let out his frustration regarding the match.

“It's vital 3 points that we lost. We should have won the 3 points. There are injuries in the team, but today that's not an excuse. It is the carelessness of the team. That's the reason”

Niyaz noted the two goals which were scored within two minutes and said it's the faults of the defense line.

‘The players did not react and they gifted the two goals which were scored against us! Very poor defending by them”

When asked about the complaints from the fans regarding his coaching, he did not elaborate much on it.

“There were good games that New Radiant has played. Sometimes people and even the players might feel more motivated when a foreign coach is there.”

Niyaz also commented on the biasness of refereeing towards New Radiant and said that it's false allegations

“It's not true. It shouldn't be an excuse when we loose a game to show the faults of the referee. We never comment on that.”

Meanwhile, Maziya's coach Ismail Mahfooz (Imma) said that he was very delighted of the score line

“It's same as a win for us. We played well and managed to get draw against one the biggest club in Maldives . So we are very happy with that. It's simply because of the good discipline shown by the players and the commitment of them towards the team”

Imma also said he felt that the referee was biased to New Radiant after they took the lead

“The referee was taking very good decisions until we took the lead. But the whole scenario changed after we took the lead.”

Maldivesoccer.com managed to get some comments regarding the referee's biasness from the referee instructor, Mohamed Ameez, who also happened to be today's match commissioner, Ah.

“It's not because a referee is biased to any club or anything like that. It's simply because of referees inconsistencies during the match”

Azim i think its time for a change.Since newradiant didnt perform gud futball under NIYA"S COACHING,You must bring GUD COACH.
We thought u will take gud decission @right time,BUT it was only a thought.months r passing, still u didnt get GUD COACH.YOU ppl didnt even talk anything about Team Situation ON ur official web site www.newradiant.com.mv
There was No need to HAVE A COACH for a NAME,There is NO need Of official web Site 4 only a Name.=GADHOO MAN+
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another disaster 4 new radiant. After a Big defeat agaist Valencia the newradiant head coach quoted"Injury was main problem" But "today that's not an excuse. It is the carelessness of the team. That's the reason.Poor defence, careless mistake."FUNNY Thing in here is "NO MISTAKE FROM COACH SIDE,NIYA NEVER agree any MISTAKE FROM HIS SIDE.
THIS IS NOT WHAT WE WANT FROM NEW RADIANT.
There r many reason why supporters demanding for gud coach.NIYA must understand tht &RESIGN immediately.
HERE IS A QUESTION FOR AZIM?"R u still searching for coach?couldnt u got anyone better than NIYA?PLS PUT AN ADDITIONAL EFFORT TO GET BETTER COACH.
There were no NEED TO INVEST LOT OF MONEY ON EXTRA ORDINARY PLAYERS WITHOUT HAVING GUD COACH WHO KNOWS THE GAME.=Soccer Dhurumi"

Oppo, Dhagey,Ali Umar and the refrees couldnt gain a win over the inexperienced young Maziya. Thank you Oittey from Ibam and the whole Emirates Group! - Ibrahim Haleem (EK Ibam)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

newradiants performance is below per and NIYA and AZIM should be solely responsible for that. If they want to prepare well for next year's AFC cup, bring in a good foreign coach and start preparing now. - mode
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

even with the help of refrees, whats newradiant doing. . ali umar, u cant play good football anymore after u left valencia.this si a disgrace for a team blistering with talented players and also the help of refress. you guys shud do better. - nau(naveen)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey NIYAA.AND AXIM..dont let release any players from the club..we want play the team on DHivehi league and NAtional tournament..just end of the season middle of the year?..cant believe with all the talented players in the squad..Ashfaq..ALi Umar..Oppo..best three players of the last season with end this season middle of the year?- Baller

congrats to Imma and MAZIYA!
NIYA and AZIM does New Radient's last two matches reflect the score line that you were buisy preparing for the AFC Cup of 2009?? or is it your REAL standard??- Ibam
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

congrats to Imma and maziya.you guys have shown that hard work will be rewarded.
And Niya stop blaming the refree.its not there fault that u guys cudnt win. ITs cos u dont have control over the team. What kinad of a coach r u? To bring out injured players like oppo on the pitch and risking there injuries. IT's there future u r Jeopardizing. Niya and Azim shud resign and let MORE capable people be involved--xaan

Well done Maaziya, it would have been much sweater if u hadn't allowed New Radiant's goal in the dying minutes. Experience let Maaziya winless. -Ali
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please FAM, I beg u people, don't let any of the teams have 14 players. (i.e. with the 3 officials). Sould a referee be favouring a team, FAM should punish him heavily, which FAM hasn't done yet in the history of Maldivian soccer. - Ali
