Eagles’ management is having there most undesirable nightmares which they could ever think of, at the moment. The players have stopped coming for practices and their coach have almost finalised to go back home.

Eagles who had a marvellous FA Cup, have lost their form and is in a slump which would just appear to be very difficult to climb up.

Eagles management have confirmed to maldivesoccer.com that some of their players are being approached by other clubs and have bribed them for huge money.

“We, the management feel that the players have been approached by other clubs and have offered a lot of money for them.”

“The management of Eagles have given everything in their limits to the players and the players have agreed to those amounts before the season. But the attitude of the players have changed when some people approached them with huge money”

Nimad, assistant coach of Eagles said in the post match news conference that some of the players have stopped attending the practices and the management might have to face a huge disaster.

“Some players have stopped attending the practices after Guraidhoo match. It’s very disappointing”

Eagles management also confirmed their Morocco coach, Abdul Salaam Meeza would be sent back home after a huge dispute between the club and him.

“We told him before his arrival about our level and our financial limitations. But after his arrival he has been asking continuously of bringing new players to the team. But we cannot do that. He should accept it” said disappointed Assistant Coach, Nidam in yesterday’s post news match conference.

“The coach is very strict and has continuously shouted at the players. The players we have are not that much professional. So it made a bad image of the players towards the management”

“As he don’t know English, we had to have a translator and it made it very difficult for the players.” Explained their assistant coach.

ONLINE: I must say Badeeu was not the sort of player that any team would pay to keep. you would know that from the last game they played where Badeeu appeared to be 'new' and 'stupid'. No ball control. No technique. No experience. why would anyone pay him..
on bribing issue, this is true. its very bad that teams like Maaziya offered bribes to allegedly Battey, Bell, Ramee and other key players. its a sad thing and it needs to be addressed by the FA. if Maziya offer bribes for players, can we imagine how much bribe will (asian super power both financially and on the field) Newradiant offer to fix a game. or the other way around. how much money will other asian teams offer NewRadiant to fix an asian cup game.. for example NRSC vs Perlis (newradiant's unjustified defeat of 6-0). i think this is a serious issue and should be dealt with more cautious both from the authorities and the clubs.. we should all improve fair play and denounce unfair conduct. -iF-Rey-

it is not true that eagles did everything to their players. may be for some players they have done it. i know one player ABDUL BADEEU he has not yet(up to 29 may 2006, 18:00 hrs) been paid a single panny. that much i know as it was the latest time i spoke to him as he was coming after the practice. he told it is disappointing as he has to pay rent and other expenditures but nothing from the club. he added that the one he contacts from the club now do not answer even to his calls. when he can from his island to here he was told that he would be paid. THIS IS TRUE IF HE IS NOT LIEING TO ME and i do not think so as we are VVVVV close friends. Thanks
