Doha, QATAR - Disappointed Maldives team is expected to arrive Maldives this evening after a disappointing Asian Games.

Maldives tasted three consecutive defeats in the tournament and the last was the one against Hong Kong.

Hong Kong scored an early goal from a corner. The goal was scored by Happy Valley's Cameroon born forward, the ball hit the ground before passing keeper Imran and Imran could have done better to prevent it.

Maldives performance was as weak as India match, but Arif's (Baka) performance was noticeable.

Madives tried to level the game in the second half but Hong Kong team made it hard for Maldives by slowing the down the game.

After the game coach Stoikov said an early goal decided the game and he criticizes the physical game of Hong Kong players.

'An early goal decided the winner, my boys tried to play but Hong Kong transformed the game into a physical contest'

'We played well and paid attention to what we did with the ball, but usually the physical superiority of our opponents was more significant than the skills'

'I cannot invite Arnold Schwarzeneger to my team, it is the Maldives: a beatiful place where there are men and women. finally, I am not upset because our national team performs much more better than several years before'

FAM is expected to have news conference after the team arrives to talk about the failure in the tournament.
