New Radiant wins comfortably

MALDIVES -New Radiant finished the Dhivehi League Qualification with a win against the relegated Eagles in today's match. Ibrahim Fazeel scored the three goals for New Radiant which topped the minnows, who scored from a superb shot by Ziyad.
Eagles got open chances to score, and as usual for the minnows, they were unable to score from any of those.
The man of the match was awarded to Ibrahim Fazeel.
In the post match news conference, New Radiant's coach Niyaz said that he was satisified with the performance of the players
“We were having shortages of players for today. 4 players were suspended and the club decided to terminate the forieng players' contract. So we only managed to get 13 players and some were very fresh faces. But they gave a good fight today”
Niyaz still believes that Oppo is not yet fit, but would recover for the Dhivehi League
‘He still cannot make shots from the right foot. It would take some time as he need to build his confidence as well. The management decided to give around 10 days break for the players before we start the practices for the Dhivehi League, so that they can recover”
Meanwhile, Eagles coach Nimad said there was no pressure before the game, but he was happy with the performance of the players
‘We were already relegated. So there was no pressure for us. No seriousness. But the performance from the players were really good and am happy with it”
