Maldives lost the away match

Male, MALDIVES - -Maldives had lost their first match of Olympic pre preliminary qualifying against Indonesia today.
The only goal of the match came in the last minute of the extra time. Four minutes extra time was given, and the goal came in the fourth minute.
The preponed match due to bad whether was played in Jakarta’s Bung Karno stadium at 1:30 local time.
Maldives played a defensive game as they planned before.
In an interview given to maldivesoccer before the match, head coach of the team Ali Suzeyn said the team will be playing a defensive game and not to allow the opponents to score.
The next encounter between Maldives and Indonesia will take place in Male’ on the 14th of this month.

not too bad, can do better in Home match. but keep in mind indonesia is better than maldives. don't hope too much. see our history. national team lost home match against them by 2-0. but hopes alive for us

0-1 score is quit good result for us. Becoz the match was played away and Indonasia is more far from us in football. i hope our u23 team will beat Indonasia in our ground 14th Feb.

i saw the match live from the stadium...maldives was good in defence ,so organized..ball possesion 75%-25% for Indonesia,indonesia got 25 shots on goal only 1 became a goal,Indonesia got one goal dissalowed at the 7th minute because of offside..supposed to be 5-0 for indonesia but Maldives goal keeper made 2 nice saves

Indonesia supposed to win by 5-0 in this match,unfortunately they blew away their chances.Maldives goal keepr made 2 critical saves.Indonesia got one goal dissalowed at the 7th minte.Ball possesions 75-25 for Indonesia

i think during these couple of years our u23team had improved a lot...but as we all know v r gud at defence..hav proves that against korea..so lets hope in a near future they will change their game plan as attakin
