Guraidhoo yet to start practices

Male, MALDIVES - Guraidhoo, one of the newly appointed first division team has yet to start practices for the upcoming season. According to Guraidhoo's President Wafir, there are various reasons for the delay in resuming the practices.
“Unlike the other clubs, we have to play little bit later in the season and most of the players are employed at near by resorts and safaris, we are still waiting. But we will start the practice before one month prior to the tournament” Wafir said
Wafir also explained that they are looking for a foreign coach and two foreign players
“We are trying to get foreign players from this region. Mostly we would be looking for a defender to replace Jamsheed, who had already signed to Valencia and a midfield player” he said.
Regarding the handing over the post of chairman to Sun Travels Shiyam, he said that Shiyam was not much interested in sports arena.
