Under 23 looses

Male, MALDIVES - Under 23 team lost their first practice match today against Club Valencia . A depleted Valencia team tried their level best to overcome the superiority of the Under 23 team. Under 23 team played in the first half without their key players like Ashfaaq and Arif.
The only goal scored in the match was by Andy which came in the first half. Later on in the second half Under 23 brought in Ashfaaq and Arif who tried to dominate the possession.
Arif who was not released for the Under 23 practices by VB Sports played well in the match. According to confirm reports Arif was released only for the match.
It is also believed that the squad would be trimmed to 20 players after today's match.
