If you go by past experiences, starting practice so late a date has few problems to contend with: you many not have a physically fit team in contention by the time you kick off the first tournament, fitness and endurance of individual players will be low, you will see only scrappy, rusty football. The fact that it takes a tournament for a team to return to its full flow and normal fluidity is no big secret. But then isn’t it a big price to pay when you could have done with it if you had started at least one and half months back.
