Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant Sports Club’s coach Simon McMenemy has said that they can’t relax and take the game easy against Churchill Brothers tomorrow in the AFC Cup.

Speaking in the pre match press conference held at FAM House today Simon said that they are playing an international tournament and they can’t relax.

“I want a good performance and a win. We are playing an international tournament so we can’t afford to relax.”

“I will shout if the players are playing in a relax mode. I am expecting a good game and a win. I may give chance to young players but also i want to win.”

New Radiant’s captain Imran Mohamed said that they knew that they don’t have any chance to qualify for the second round but they want a win.

“We know that we are out of the competition but we want a win. We are playing against an Indian club and we have suffered huge setbacks against India in football. So we want to beat them.”

“We are going for the match in a different mentality. We have improved a lot since the game against Churchill in India. So we hope that we can win.”

On the other hand Churchill Brothers coach Mariano Dias said that it will be a tough match against New Radiant.

“New Radiant will want to win the last game. So it will be tough to play against them though they are knocked out. So we have to be wary of them. They played a good football at India so they will be strong at home ground. We are without 2-3 players. But it’s a must for us to win.”
