i dont now what to say ??? our football is never imrpoving ? player selection is not good ! not good height and good fitness! some players cant even control the ball ? some players control the ball and then they look myanmar players have possesd it ! too much depending on ashfag ! ( what if there is no ashfag with injury ) dont we need a better keeper ?

Thank you for the Updates. In my opinion Baka, Shafiu should be in the starting eleven. In addition to that , while team was going down , must introduce a big huge forward like Asadhulla, he has natural scoring talents. Coach didn't had the Plan B, when his Plan A , which was to use sides to Attack didn't worked out.

Good point. Asadullah should have brought in, in the 70th minute. And should have used him as CF and give some space and freedom to Ashfaq to do his magic!!! Baka should be a starter, i do not know why coach didn't see this from our friendly game against laos!!! In fact everyone else saw that Baka brough stablity to that game!!!!

for god sake can someone tell me when ashfaq changed to a center forward ??? because of that stupid mistake we are seen a dead guy in center forward ! ashfaq is way better when he was playing behind the CF !! when he gets the ball he need some space to run towards defender now this stupid decision by coach !!! GIVE HIM A FREE ROLE

I Completely Agree with you. In the Squid there are Center forwards like Asadhulla , why does the Coach use Maldivian Messi for a Center forward .

Blame the coach. Blame the referee. Our players didn't perform and that's why we lost.

no just a proper , more organised defense line. we also need a new goalie. i don't know why everyone freaks out when someone says to replace imran. maybe that's the problem with MV football. that we treat some players as kings. Shifan is another who's not worth the first eleven anymore. in fact it would be better to drop him from the team. he is too old school with the likes of jameel and soba. Also why is Bonda not functioning like he used to in previous tournaments. i really hoped to see bonda and umair to be the key that links our attacks. but sadly it didn't happen.

You must be properly blind. Didn't you see all the saves he made? Or else what would the scoreline be? 5-2 or something? Age doesn't matter. Quality matters. And imran still has it.

We are a good team. We'll do the homework and see who our oppnents are and importantly we'll learn from our mistakes and come back stronger for the next match.

Well, our team gives way more pace in the midfield. And also the mids and diffence line is not attached, way too loose. I don't see us beating the next opponent with today's first eleven. Bakaa is a must for the next game. Would be very happy if we meet Myanmar in the final and beat them. Go maldives go

And one more thing; we should not let Amdhaan down. ever since Sobah/Jambey retirement our defence became weak and fragile. And now we have got Amdhaan, a big, strond defender. all he needs is time and good tough friendly mathes to settle in the team!!! I strongly believe if FAM provided enough friendlies to the NT across the season (not just couple of games ahead of a tournament), he will be exellent by now!!!! Anyway good luck in your next game NT, keep fighting we are still behind you!!!!

I agree. Amdhaan actually made some very good interceptions during the match. He is tall and poses a threat on set pieces. Also pretty decent with the ball too. Don't forget that he is also only 20 years old. I felt that he was let down by his more experienced partner Sifan's donkey-like defending. I think we should foster a central defense partnership between Amdhaan and Shafiu, and also give some game time to someone like Numan. It has been a long time since we last had talented defenders breaking through to the national team.

@Imma; Yes. I think future should be Amdhaan, Lili, Numan. Shafiu is at his peak, so before time runs out we have to build a solid defense. i guess we cannot afford not to have friendly games on FIFA days!!!!
