Akram and Sentey released

Fasir and Akram playing for New Radiant this year. Blues has released two of them to Oman's Sur Club.

Male', MALDIVES - New Radiant Sports Club has accepted the loan release request from Oman's Sur Club for Akram Abdul Ghanee and Ali Fasir (Sentey).

New Radiant took the decision after a club board meeting held tonight and the decision was revealed by club chairman Balak in a press conference held to sign an agreement with Raajje TV to make them as club's official media partner.

"We are releasing both players on a five month loan deal. New Radiant will not get any financial benefit from this, we make the decision because this will be a great opportunity for the players and Maldivian football" Balak said.

Regarding the media partner agreement, Balak said it was an initiative from Raajje TV.

"Raajje TV took the initiative and they will travel with club on their cost to our AFC cup games, to cover"

"Right now it is not possible for a local club to run their own TV channel but this is the best way to move forward"

The agreement period is 2 years.

Excellent news! Hope both players make full use of this opportunity to improve themselves and open new doors for other Maldivian players. Good work all round by NRSC once again. I also hope Perez Garcia will be able to attract some quality replacements in time for the AFC Cup.

Sry for not writing for long I was busy. And I really like ur comments. Hope u like my commmnts too And for NRSC u make good decisions and hope Maldivian football will get better I hope t se a day we(Maldives) ply in Fifa World Cup. Some people might think this is a stupid idea and I m mad but tell the truth it will be possible if we work team. I have one last request to all my sisters

Thanks to New Radiant, for allowing this to happen. I can sense that it would have been difficult to let go of two of their first team players. But as the chairman it will benefit the nation and Maldivian football players. To aku and sentey: Now it's time for the two of you to prove yourselves. These chances don't come too often so please make the best use of it. In your hands and in the hand of Dhagey lies a great chance to prove to the world that Maldives has great players worth playing abroad. Give 100% commitment to it and fly our national flag up high and proudly. To rajje tv: We didn't get to watch some of the away games that new radiant played in afc, hope you will work to bring us all the games new radiant plays this year. To FAM: make sure we don't loose the chance to host the AFC challenge cup and where is the national coach? I remember writing about this in relation to last saff championships too. Our team has talent but it doesn't have the endurance to show this talent. And to work on endurance you need time and its slowly running out. Please do something quick. Wishing all the best to Maldivian football.

Akram, Sentey and Dhagey, please do not view this chance as a 5 months/ 1 year expedition, where your mind will be set to "finish the job and come back home". Instead use this opportunity to spend rest of your career in a better league by showing and improving your skills and everything!!! Marhabaa and good luck.
