Ali Fasir out for at least 3 months

The moment Sentey got injured. Both Imran and Sentey went for the ball and Sentey twisted his ankle.

Male’, MALDIVES – National team key player, Ali Fasir has suffered a fibula fracture in the practice match held against New Radiant today and might take 3 – 5 months for recovery. Speaking to maldivesoccer.com, National team’s sports physician, Shakeeb confirmed that the player will be out for at least 3 months and the injury might need five months of treatment.

“The initial analysis shows a major fracture in his fibula (Near ankle). He has to undergo a surgery and it might take at least 3 months to recover. It might prolong to five months as well. But we have to see.”

Both Imran and Fasir went for the ball and Sentey twisted his ankle.

Speaking to maldivesoccer.com, national team coach, Istvan Urbanyi wished him a speedy recovery.

“I feel sorry about him. He would have a huge role in the team and we would miss him a lot. But now it’s time to focus on his recovery and I wish him a good recovery.

Meanwhile, Victory’s coach Suzain also wished him a speedy recovery

“It’s a huge loss for us. We have to change all our plans. It’s a big loss”

“But then, we need to identify the reasons why the national team played a friendly without proper referees. The national team coach was the referee”

what has the injury got to do with the referee or the coach?..talk some sense suzain, both fasir and imran went for the ball and imran caught the ball fairly and unfortunately fasir twisted his anklem it could have happened to anyone..I think suzain is too much thinking about getting the national team coach position..no offence but you are not qualified and not fit for the job..
