Trivandrum, INDIA – Maldives coach Ricki Herbert has said that the match against Bangladesh tomorrow in SAFF Suzuki Cup is just another tough challenge for them.

“Bangladesh played very well against Afghanistan yesterday and I will say tomorrow will be a tough game for us and for sure it will be tougher than Bhutan.” Ricki added.

“There might be some changes tomorrow but I will see how the players recover today and I will finalize it tomorrow morning.”

Speaking to media, national team striker Asadhulla Abdulla said that there main target is to get three points against Bangladesh.

“If we win this match we can confirm a place in the final and we will work hard to get three points tomorrow. We will not depend on yesterday’s scores. We will work hard to change what has happened yesterday. I can say that in the coming games we will not miss so many chances like yesterday against Bhutan.”

Ahmed Imaz, a regular starter for the Maldives said that they would work hard to get three points tomorrow.

“In every tournament the first match is different and I am sure it will not repeat in tomorrow’s game. And our main target is to get three points tomorrow.“
