There appears to be something more than meets the eye. Otherwise why so many players are bowing out one after the other. Dhagey, Imran and Anday may have case but what about the others? Is there anything more prestigious than playing for national team for these players. Something is really really wrong!

Two possibilities: Players do need a rest to spend time with family and to attend other matters. Also, still some have the old habit of saying 'Nukuraanan' / Nudhaanan'; Faibaa, Isthiufaadhee, the moment something goes against their top wish. It'll take time to learn to be flexible and to negotiate issues. Old habits die hard to the worse unfortunately.
